I make my babies food and it is so easy and so much better for them. You can get inexpensive meat at you local grocery store I will utilize the meat that they are trying to get rid of and could be 30-50% off, or I will get boneless chicken breast, ground turkey, beef and pork. So typically I do large batches so I will do 5 labs of meat. I get frozen vegetables wand let them defrost, then do up 6 cups brown rice. And throw some mixed fruit in it. While the meat is cooking in the roaster I will add parsley, tumeric, little garlic, basil, oregano, paper on the meat. Once meat is cooked I use the liquid for the rice, I allow the fruit and veg to defrost while o am cooking the meat and rice, then combine it all and portion it out. I do not want to loose the nutritional value from the veg and fruit so I do not cook them. As a variety I will add black beans or pumpkin. I add coconut oil to the meat. I will scramble eggs up and add that to their food at times and I will cut up raw meat sometimes. I freeze it in containers and this will typically give us 6 weeks of food for a boxer and 2 beagles
Since doing this our vet is very happy with their weight and their overall energy levels.
All I can say is do your research.
Are you taking the bones out of the chicken?
It looked like she left the chicken bones. I never give my dog chicken bones.
Wow. You are bloody stupid.
One. You NEVER feed cooked bones to dogs.🤬🤬🤬🤬
Two. Dogs digestions cannot digest peas and corn.
This is VERY BAD ADVICE.
I use wild game and or fish, with veggies, some rice and dry oatmeal with frozen blueberries. Our pups love it.
