Vet Approved homemade dog food recipe (This makes  about 22 cups)
*I used a 8qt instant pot for this recipe (I doubled this in video)

Ingredients:
-5-6 pounds of ground turkey
-7.5 ounces of pumpkin puree
-2T sunflower oil
-2 sweet potatoes chopped
-1 1/2C brown rice or white rice
-7oz of frozen spinach
– 4 carrots chopped
-12oz green beans
-12oz peas
-1 pint of fresh blueberries
-2C water
– 1/3C of beef liver chopped
optional: 1/4t of turmeric powder & Black Pepper

  1. I’ve been making my dogs food for the last several years and they love it. Our recipe is very similar, but we add a few eggs and unsweetened applesauce (no artificial sweeteners). I’ll never feed them kibble again. We have two Poms and need to make the food once every two weeks or so. We just freeze everything. I’ll have to try using the instapot, since it sounds easier.

  2. I watched a video on what the so called “premium brands” of dog food actually contains. We’re paying premium prices for total junk to feed our fur babies. I’m going to invest in the pressure cooker and containers.

  3. I turned this video on because it’s a subject I want to learn more about. But as soon as I heard those long nails clicking on the floor, I know that this owner is ignorant or apathetic to basic care and pain prevention of dogs.

    I lost respect and then interest in hearing their opinions about dog care.
